Survey of the National Palliative Care Workforce Across Health and Aged Care Settings

This short survey is for everyone who works or volunteers in any service that provides palliative care in Australia. This includes all people working or volunteering in specialist palliative care services, and those providing palliative care as part of their work in primary care, aged care and other health care settings.

It will take you about 15 to 20 minutes, or a little bit longer if you kindly complete the voluntary open-ended questions, as so many respondents have already done.

Your answers help Palliative Care Australia (PCA) and our Member Organisations around the country to advocate for the palliative care workforce, and everyone who needs palliative care.

It is important for you to know that the information you provide in this survey is completely confidential. Your identity and the place you work is not captured, recorded, or stored in anyway. It’s important to us that you feel free to express yourself in the interests of those you care for and those you work with.

Depending on your role and where you work, you may be asked questions about: workforce pressures, demand for services, the National Palliative Care Standards, after-hours care, your wellbeing at work, voluntary assisted dying, and palliative care in primary care or aged care. You can stop the survey at any time, and resume when ready to do so.
