Introduction

We are keen to hear about your engagement with Primary Connections, reSolve Maths and Science Connections (formerly Science by Doing)!
This survey will help us understand:

• how you use the program/s
• the impact of the program/s on your teaching and professional learning
• how the program/s have impacted your students’ learning.

We are also looking for schools to nominate themselves to help us engage with their school community to understand more about the programs. There are questions in the survey if you think your school may be interested.

The survey will take approximately 20 minutes.

About the project

ACIL Allen has been commissioned by the Australian Government Department of Education to evaluate three Australian Academy of Science programs: Primary Connections, reSolve Maths, and Science Connections (formerly Science by Doing). These programs are funded from 2020-21 until 2024-25.

The Academy programs have undergone a review and realignment with Australian Curriculum v9.0. Refreshed resources for Primary Connections and reSolve Maths (F-6) were released in June 2024, with resources for reSolve Maths (7-10) and Science Connections (formerly Science by Doing) launched in 2025.

The evaluation is examining the impact of all three programs, their effectiveness and the extent to which the resources contribute to improved science and/or maths teaching in Australia. It is also considering program efficiency, appropriateness and governance.

This survey is the final of three evaluation surveys over 2022 to 2025. You can complete this survey without having completed the previous surveys.
